No it was not crossed out. Not good when I just posted and there are 3 of us already.Don't much care for those stock ones as well and that wrench leaves much to be desired. Hey wait something strange is going on.

Well I just got some short threaded shocks and one of them is missing the inside cap to hold the cartridge (o-rings, spacer etc.) pieces together. Hmmmm strike 2 for Losi. Not a good first impression for me.
BTW MDM3 I think the club you belong to is BMWCCA, correct?

Losi Quality Control
Looks like a lot of people are having problems with missing parts. Two friends of mine purchased the full graphite set and was missing the graphite tunnel cover. I was missing the 2R Graphite support block. What's up with that? Where's the quality control that they mentioned on their web site?

Thanks for catching that Sydewynder. It is fixed. I will get the smilie address later. Called Losi they already shipped the turnbuckles out this morning.(so they said) From the tone must be a common problem.

I think losi quality control leaves something to be desired.
I've bought 2 losi kits a xxx and a xx.
The xx had one shock shaft with the threads machined to the wrong diameter, and the xxx had no holes in the caster blocks.

Can someone give me a better idea of how to set the diffs on this car? For example, AE says to tighten them up and then back off 1/8 to 1/4 turn and they're about perfect. Losi doesn't come anywhere close to that type description for the xxx-s. Please let me know what you guys are doing. Many thanks!!!!!!!!!!

As for tighteining the diffs hold both out drives tighten until you cannot turn the gear and you are done. Run the car they will losen up a little then tighten them or losen them to adjust the way the car drives to your liken.
Count me in on the titanium screws, got about 3 or 4 other people who would be interested also.
