I got installed the Blue aluminum Lower Center of Gravity motor mount for the XX4 and SW and that does a good job of allowing the motor to cool down. A heatsink would be a good combo to add to that.

I should add that the 3mmx6mm Motor Screws will not fit. I had to go buy 3mmx8mm Motor Screws so that it fits properly

Just got my Quantum and all I got to say is wow....it is small and nice. can't wait to see my Computer tonight so I can buy 6 packs of 3000 SMH and slap my TI 8 turn Single in t .

do you actually slide the motor into the (street weapon) heatsink?

no..it is just like the XXX-S motor plate. same cutout and holes. it just has a 2mm gap beteween the front of the plate and the motor for air to get in front of the motor and there are 3 aluminum strips that comeout to support the motor and allow it to cool by dispating heat. It is not really needed but a guy at my track was running it with is Motor and says it helps with cooling. He also had the XX4\SW Outdrive Covers and the Shock aluminum supports and some other parts for the XX4\SW.
