Anyone running diff oil front or rear, what weight?

Losi shocks do look good, but I found a good quality 40wt helped the stock ones immensely. They actually feel decent.

Took it out to a local park by my office. I'm happy to report that with the 17/54 and 40 wt in the shocks, the noise stayed up jumping. Shocks were a bit soft and it bottomed out a few times however.

It traction rolls very easy, and was endoed a number of times.

I made a spray shield that wraps around the front of the tub, seems to help keep the big chunky stuff off the ESC. Hosed the mud off and its drying now!

@Ross, thanks for the tips on slash bodies. Knowing that, losi xxx sct bodies would fit as well. I used to run a losi xxx sct body on nmy slash and it fit perfectly, body mount holes and all.

@Java, sounds like you are liking the truck.

Yup so far so good. My daughter drove it too! Reverse doesn't seem to work very well, and I think I bent either a wheel or axle shaft..

The reverse issue may be the esc needing a good calibration.

I noticed its kind of vague (much like the manual in the box for the truck itself) as far as calibrating goes.

i think it a safety feature to not go full forward to reverse. safe guard the motor kind of thing. i know i have to go brake back to neutral and then reverse.

Well, normally, when going forward, you tap the brake once for braking, twice for reverse.

Yes, and then it makes weird noises instead of going in reverse...
