is there a new kit coming soon, including the new shocks?

$100 for new AE shocks is a big investment.

personally, I'd rather get kyosho shocks than invest in some unknown shocks.

I think that means that the press release is "ready for immediate release". If you put the part numbers in horizonhobby.com it comes up as being available in the June timeframe.

You can just get the new bodies for $25 a pair. They arent really anything new, same size as far as piston/shaft...the way the seal is installed is the only major difference, just easier to rebuild and longer lasting between rebuilds. Goes together very similar to a Kyosho shock. Basically a miniaturized RC8 Shock.

Thumbs up

Hell, I'd love to be at the back of the B-main.

And as much as I love Associated cars, a serious shock technology upgrade has been sorely needed for over a decade (or more). The complaints, in this case, we very much well-founded on all levels.

Question: Why are you selling these packs for $40 when they go for $20 on Hobby King's site?

bigboy93433
Answer: Not with plugs, shipping, waiting to get them, Not knowing whether they will work for sure..Etc. We test all batteries, Put the plugs you guys need on them and generally when you order them we have them out the same day so there isn't a 2-3 week wait for them to arrive and you know the will work for sure no bad cells.

Get the Factory Team because when it is all said and done wyou will probably end up with one anyway......just a better overall kit then the RTR.

I never "Spun" anything. The new shocks look like an improvement but the old ones "looked" good too. I hope they've got it right, AE customers will be very appreciative.

one thing for sure it would seem easier to change limiters back to back with different set-ups without having to empy all the fluid out if the fluid isnt old, then just add a little and bleed using the bleed screws. Isnt the yokomo shock similar to this?
