I am still fitting it, the only thing I found to hold it on looks like hell, so I am going to dremel it, and spray paint the little piece. I will post pics tomorrow night.

Here you go guys...

As you can see the little piece in the center is all black, still need to grind it even more.

Damn it Mike! I was going to make that too.....guess you beat me to be the first one to own a "spinner" steering wheel on the Helio! Where is the big a$$ cross-drilled rotor and Brembo red caliper?

Yeah, I am still tweaking it, it still has too much slop in the spinner for me, just need to find my old clutch parts boxes from my nitro days, to find the right shims. And then I am going to grind on the little black piece more, and paint, or polish it. I also need to get with Robert about getting some internal wheel parts to really modify, and make it look even sweeter. Robert, Ill give you a call sometime this week about it.

Mike,

What wheel is that? I saw one of those Dub City Escalade diecast with spinner wheels and was tempted to buy one to start a project too!

Dom, man, that would take way too long. Just buy the Ko Wheel adaptor, then go buy

1 pair: the new Pro-Line Spinners
1 pair: Pro-Line Spinner wheels
1 3mmx20mm screw
Some CRC 5mm clutch shims (like 6mm O.D. and 5mm I.D.)
One package (two bearings) 12mmx8mm Bearings
" " " " 8mmx5mm Bearings
One of those Mugen Clutch-Holder-Together-Dealies (see picture, the black thing)

Take the bearings out of the stock spinner, then get the grease out of the new bearings, and oil them. Then, fit one 8x5mm bearing into one 12x8mm bearing, then do the same for the other two bearings. Everything else should be self-explanetory, just put the new dual bearings into the spinner where the old ones where, then put in the mugen piece through both bearings, then shim it on the back side of the spinner so that the spinner doesnt hit the wheel, then put the screw through it all, and put the Ko wheel adaptor on the radio, then screw it all together. Any other questions just ask.
