MIP SpeedTips are $15 ea @ 4 common sizes that $60.
fwiw Integy just started a 3-day sale on pit tools.
I picked up 11 Ti-Ni Quick Connect bits (4 hex, 4 nut drivers, 2 phillips, 1 straight slot) + 1/4" hex metal driver handle (not quick connect, but magnetic). for a smidge over 26+s/h. (Those ones I mentioned a few posts back.)
Not sure if just the screwdrivers are made in japan, or if the hex are too. But the screwdriver bits have Japan stamped into them.
I was also surprised to see that the Hex tips+shafts are replacable.
Anyway, enough tool porn for today.

I have been using the dynamite tips and drivers for years love them.
I just can not give Integy any of my money. One I first got into RC I did not know better and gave them too much of my money.

I have a set of the MIP 1/4 drivers (1.5, 2.0, 2.5) that are 2 years old and going strong. I did manage to break the 2.5mm trying to remove a dead screw which shows just how strong the tips are. The regular Losi wrenches I have rounded out within months.
I've been using EDS tools for the last 18 months that have have worked perfectly and show no tip wear. The only thing I don't like is the set screw can strip out the handle if you aren't careful. For my Serpent kit I picked up a complete set of EDS 1/4 drivers and those work just as well.
The MIPS sets are $12 per tool with the EDS as low as $6 individually or slightly more per set (weird!).

I use Hitachi DB3DL Driver. Bought it when I saw that alot of the drivers were using the same one at the Worlds in Pattaya.

Love it...variable speed, torque control and comes with two batteries. This is a very nice tool for wrenching, probably overkill but the only negative is the price.

The MIP bit set lasts forever and so does the black and decker power driver that takes 4 AA's from walmart. Costs like $8 and wont strip out a screw into plastic if you go to far but still has more then enough tq to get anything out. That is my suggestion because for about $35 you get a great working set.

i used the eds, they are great but with how much wreching i do they wear out. I replaced the tips about every 4 months. so far im at 2 months and the mip look new so we shall see if they make it past 4 months to justify the cost

its the updated db3dl . this has a better gear set. I got mine from the toolbarn for $73 bucks. otw to me now
