Hello Tryhard,
Are the e-clip slots on the hinge pins in the same place for the Evo III hinge pins as the 415 hinge pins. I will not be able to check them until friday.
I just bought 2 sets of evoIII hinge pins form speedtechrc.com because steve said they were a direct replacement.....interesting....

not sure exactly, I'll have a quick look.
The pins I replaced are the inboard ones, so didn't actually need e-clips, but hence why they need to be cut down.
Ed
EDIT - Right, had a look, I think I know where the confusion has come in, the outer pins ARE a direct replacement, however the inner ones aren't.

Glad you like 'em.
Hopefully the set-up crib sheet aint too confusing, I find it quite useful to have a look at if I'm stuck tweaking a set-up, and it means that a) I don't have to flick through the guide to find the right section, or b) remember what change does what. Also can remind me if I've forgotton to look at something.
Regards

I know the 415 is a world class, champion and fast car!!
But anyone here, who owns a 415 and a TA04-R?
Could you make a comparison? I have hopped up my 04 to kingdom come and would love another belt car and 415 is my first choice!!!
QUestion is.......Is it worth it?
Any tweak issues? since I prefer a tub chassis (less tweak?)
Thanks!!!!

how are you?
i own both but i haven't used my 415. i bought my 415 also asking first if it has any tweak issues. apparently, it has none. sonny had a super crash in captiloyo but he was still continue no problem you can ask him. i think tweak problems are pretty much confined nowadays to shaft driven double deck cars. i actually almost bought an evo4 the other day but when i checked the forums, the tweak problems were present. that's why i bought a cgm instead yesterday be careful cos there are no parts for sale, you have to order at pitshop. i'd suggest if you can wait for the myo2-m, it might be worth considering. or you can offer to buy mine hehehehe. but in all honesty, even with the lack of parts availability here, based on inputs from a lot of people, i think the 415 is worth it

Also, the aluminum bones up front is pretty risky, if you don't plan on hitting anything and it's a pretty big race, by all means, go for it...

aluminiums up front sounds quite dangerous!
Remember there is the lightweight front joint cups and the mentioned titanium ends.
