The lower arm mount and upper arm mount look like they bolt up the same as the stock arms so they should be no problem...the shock mounts and bell crank mounts are a problem though as they do not exist on the current upper deck for the Exotek chassis.

Used my new fgx chassis last night , along with the new inboard front shock conversion.
Quite a nice setup , I think it has potential for sure.
I like having droop adjustment , along with easily found springs ( if they venture from your pit station - lol !) , plus a better range of ride height adjustment.
Will it make you faster ? - probably not. But it does look even more realistic.
The new set uses a zero degree upper camber plate and has offset insert in the lower arm mount , so camber is adjusted via the lower instead ........
Bear in mind , that the shock can fly apart , if the ball cup comes off in a crash. It didn't happen to me , but there isn't anything there for retention of the spring.
Also, preload is achieved via some old style clips. One of which was broken on the parts tree. I suggest that many of these will end up with a proper oil filled damper set. I will be looking to do this for sure .

I was thinking , you could use a three degree upper plate and use the zero degree lower insert for a narrower track width too !!
The new parts appear to have a lot more fibre reinforcement in them. I haven't broken anything yet, despite finding another car dead on the apex of the sweeper , at the end of our short straight . Still looks to have a weak point on the top deck though

We built one of the new IFS front ends to day at the track and used the Exotek upper arms so those of you using the Exotek upper arm I've got some info for you:
If you use the stock spacer above the steering block then the rim will rub on the upper arm on the back side. We lowered the upper arm spacer by about 1mm and added the difference above the arm to keep everything tight and that helped it stop rubbing for the most part. But the rim would still rub in the corners just a bit sooner so we were not getting the same amount of steering throw than with the old arms. A little more lowering of the upper arm might be needed to use the Exotek upper arm. For those using the F104 steering knuckle you will probably have better clearance if you are using the off-set axles.
Handling wise with just the initial stock setup the car looked like it did gain a little bit more steering than it previously had. Not as much as I had hoped but some is definitely an improvement. I think more front grip will be able to be generated by using a lighter oil on the damper tubes than stock. It will be interesting to see how the setups develop around this front end.

Sorry I didn't snap pics. Wasn't my car that we were working on. I've got the Exotek chassis on my car so I'll have to wait until Exotek comes out with an adapter to use the new front suspension on the Exotek chassis.
