The xs3 receiver is to big if you want it to fit right. I have the XS3 also and i had to mod the receiver mount to make it fit. Its actually almost double the size. Just my opinion.

I was going to use the factory receiver in my Savage, and order the JR micro receiver for the G4, still trying to find a place that sells the JR stuff at a reasonable price tho.

Check horizonhobby.com or ebay for JR stuff. Most hobby shops carry JR also. Just make sure you get a 3 channel one so you have a spot for your personal transponder...

Default HELP

I've had a g4 for a while, but it has never run worth a crap. It has no bottom end punch at all. Me and a fellow racer with the same car and same engine (rossi pixi 3-port) have tried everything with the clutch and engine and got very little reults, and it wears out the clutch shoe real quick.. I'm almost ready to throw it in the trash......please help!

My last Sirio AAC last me about 4 gallons and I expect it to last longer but unfortunately a blown plug spoil it. However I do have the new JP FX-12 5 port will get it run in and test it side by side with my EVO2.

Aggdaddy,
If i remove the shim and run a colder turbo plug will i notice an increase in speed?? How many shims are between the head and cylinder case? How many mph rpms should i expect to gain on the top end. Thanks, i have also noticed without much nitro experience that it doesn't seem to rev to 41,000 rpms.

Thanks,
Mike

Default New G4 Evo

I saw the actual kit in a box, for the first time, it has all of the hop ups that you would need, but missing the most important. The Kfactory Chassis. As all of you know this is a must have item. Just wanted to touch base. Check out Brooklyn Hobbies for the items you need.

Yet another variation on the steering issue.

It's the size. The K-Factory and 3 Racing chasis are 4mm opposed to the stock 3mm. First is the weight the 4mm are going to be heavier. But the 4mm is stronger. And won't get tweaked as easy as a 3mm. Less flex in the car with a 4mm. If you don't hit any walls a 3mm is good enough but a 4mm makes me feel a little safer. I have the 3 Racing 4mm and it's a little heavier that the K-factory but half the price.
