Congrats on your purchase! WE have been gearing between 3.2 to 3.7 and have been temping at about 110*F. It is by far, the funnest racing i have had in a LONG time.

I need a longer sensor wire. When can I get one. Is it ok to run the ESC and motor without the sensor wire.

Hey guys, has anyone had trouble with this system using a 3pk with a spektrum module? The ESC is not reading the throttle during and after setup. It works well with an AM system but not the Spektrum and 3pk...

Whenever I have problems with ANY spektrum system. No matter the problem, I always make sure thier is a cap on the reciever... I had an issue on one system, and had to reset the model in the radio before it setup properly.

I havent tried to reverse the throttle, it is at normal now but shouldnt make a difference. It seems like they are just not communicating, Ive tried it with a different reciever as well and still wont work...

Wow, normally I would say BS to that working but I was so fed up and ready to give that I did try reversing the throttle direction to reverse and sure as hell it worked. It makes no sense because it is all input but whatever works. I am currently geared at a 4.5 because the biggest pinion I found was a 35...
I guess you can believe everything you read on the internet.

I will be running on a Small to Medium track (fast laps of 10 sec. for touring), I will report my finding after the next race. Thanks for the fast responses guys...I RCTech...

I am glad you get that figured out.

Also, thank you TEAM for the explaination.

BTW....this step is listed on page 5, step A on the Cirtix manual. Definitely for all the FUTUBA radio. Actually, I think all the Speed Passion ESC are all listed with the same step, since the 1st version SP GT V1.0.

BTW....our team did the race last SUNDAY on a 35 x 80 small carpet track (11 or so sec per lap, sub 10 for boost up 17.5)...our general gearing is 4~4.2. The bigger/more open the track, you can throw more gear....1 adjustment we did on the club spec is the DRAG braking...since our track is TIGHT and technical, I ended up using about 20% drag brake. That helps a lot.

Keep on racing....
