Sure negative talk could hurt a business but that isnt the point Im making. Trash talk or not, if a business is a cash cow why shut it down unless you couldnt use the extra money.
Fear Farm makes good money, the RC track does not

If the RC track at ET was putting 10k a month in the owners pocket each and every month would it have been shut down regardless of what knuckle heads on rctech say?

I sure as hell wouldn't close an rc track that was making $$$ and cut off cash flow into my pocket no matter what anybody was saying about the place.

I would have a hard time believing you wouldnt open up the nitro pit if it would put a few K in your pocket every month. If during the time nitro pit closed it was averaging 100 racers each and every saturday would it have closed?
Yup you are correct. Cashflow. This economics 101. Blame RCTech if you like but no business is actually closed due to bad statements on RCTech. Cashflow determines a business's ability to continue. If the money doesn't come from customers, and the owner is no longer willing to support it, the business is closed.

FF website states track is closed for winter events, but check out the winter schedule. that says to me it is not closing for good, and will re-open after their fall/winter event season, sounds like we will have to wait to run nitro locally for a bit, but not forever

Randy,

rctech comments and track drama are why tracks end up with low racer counts. What Jim says is correct. and yes if a business is having success it would be stupid to shut it down but rc has and never will be a way to make a million $$. you maybe able to sustain the business but you wont be buying a house in Fountain Hills.

If there were actually enough nitro racers to support what it took to keep TNP open it would still be open.

Ya want to know how to become a millionaire in the rc industry. Start out with 2 million.

When a track closes, it's NEVER the racer's fault.

Just think Aarron, maybe in another 30 years, and you can retire, I might be dead, and not be around to give you crap!
