Just picked mine up this afternoon from the local hobby shop. Ran it for 10 minutes with the stock electronics to get a baseline. Immediately pulled the Velineon system out of my Rustler VXL and installed it in the 4Tec. Good times after that! Couldn't find my temp gauge, but I may need to drop it down from 21 to 20.

I ran it for about 5 minutes on 3S. Fun, but with the limits of traction on the smooth concrete of my bash spot, I don't see myself doing that very often. 2S is how I'm gonna roll with this one usually.

That's for sure.

I'm really impressed with how straight this thing tracks. It remains to be seen whether it'll continue to do so after it's broken in and the tires have had a few more packs put through them. I struggle to get my other shaft cars (Vaterra V100S and Associated Apex) to behave this way. Please note that I've turned the TSM to 0 since I didn't like how it dulled my inputs and kept it from aggressively rotating. Perhaps that'll change once I try the 4Tec 2.0 on other surfaces.

Traxxas need to bring this out with a 21.5T motor and they got themselves a winner.
