if by woven you guys mean layered yea it is....it's more dense than the tamiya one but unlike the tamiya one, the first layer isn't fiberglass

$230HK Dollars for enough genuine 3mm Carbon Fibre Sheet to do 3 chassis is too cheap to be correct.
My money is on it being Fibreglass...

I was trying to be tactful but Trust me I know cause I make Genuine Carbon Fibre Sheet..
No fibreglass cloth is used in Quality Carbon Fibre Sheet. I have worked with Modern Tamiya CF Chassis like that used in the EvoIII, 414 etc and it is all Carbon Fibre Cloth. There is no Fibreglass used for fill. What you have bought is Fibreglass with a woven cloth used top and bottom..Hence the cheap price

would 3mm fibreglass have more flex than 2mm carbon fibre?

no carbon content
I have that kind of chassis for my old Kyosho Lazer ZX

Yes it does look like fibreglass to me...the same stuff that Tamiya used to use for the TA03/04 pro. Easiest way to know I guess would be the dust that came off when you cut it....if everything turned "black" including your fingers....you have carbon!

Hey,
Regardless of the fact that it is Fibreglass not CF you still did a good Job from what I can see.... I am sure it will work a treat.
