yeah the LRP's hold heat! I temped mine 2 weeks ago at 278 Before that I thought 160 was rough.

Magnets are still hanging together. I'll be bringing a back up motor just in case!

Didn't know that there negative timing was really quite a bit of timing in the motor otherwise I would have never ran timing in my esc!

No changes is probably a good thing. I still need to learn how to drive this track

Sonny,

I had some issues with my LRP over the weekend. I'm going to run it tomorrow weather permitting and as long as I get this motor figured out I have a Phantom II that I'll let you run...

carey,

thanks for the offer, doesn't look like i'm going to have a motor ready for the weekend so i'll take you up on it. if it doesn't work out, i'll just race spec class.

Sonny you have a PM

If anyone knows anyone interested in a Spektrum DX3S Radio we have a like new (out of box and screen protector is off) for $100 (no rx). May consider trading something too. I figured we no longer need a back up as I went to the DX3R.

Thanks,
Carey

Well with Jackson's 24hour Race a resounding smash. I started talk and already gettin some feedback and buzz over the possibility of its offroad twin, especially since many are are already barking for the 2011 event to be scheduled mere days after 2010 inaugural event.

The idea floating around is that of a 1000L enduro (~7hrs) around pitstop perhaps into the evening/nite with handout RTR vehicles. Some folks have expressed interested in an SCT type deal, and others have mentioned RTR b4.1 or t4.1 2.4ghz brushless models. all food for thought.

the even will have to take place next yr as it is too late for this season. however, like to put the idea out there and will speak with jimmy bout his plans for 2011 and feasibilty for an event like this. and if any of you were at Jackson this past wkend if only to watch the madness, you know whats on the plate.

Hahaha!! I would love to do a 1000L off-road race. I would think SC trucks would be better because they aren't open wheel.
