The idea floating around is that of a 1000L enduro (~7hrs) around pitstop perhaps into the evening/nite with handout RTR vehicles. Some folks have expressed interested in an SCT type deal, and others have mentioned RTR b4.1 or t4.1 2.4ghz brushless models. all food for thought.

the even will have to take place next yr as it is too late for this season. however, like to put the idea out there and will speak with jimmy bout his plans for 2011 and feasibilty for an event like this. and if any of you were at Jackson this past wkend if only to watch the madness, you know whats on the plate.

Would be nice to know who you are so I can speak with you in person about this.

for spec it is the traxxas or hpi

for 17.5 it is alot endoroes, bow ties, double dees, goosebumps, alot depends on how you want your truck to work.

Hope this helps some

Oh man I did the Jackson 24hr on Ryans team and that was rough on one of the toughest on road cars made. I might do something like this off rd enduro.

But here is the thing If a sct is used it would have to be a Slash rtr with hinge pin upgrade or it will get pricey fast replacing parts a arms and such(sc10 blitz). But the titan 12t sometimes can't last a race much less 7hr . We went threw 3 tamiya silver can motors at Jackson and they were shot wich takes along time. So I say the motor and speedo combo should be the citrix 17.5 brushless spec there like 60-70 bux online good quality and there is no esc or motor tuning avalible and everyone should run same FDR so everyone is matched.

Just my 2 cents.lol

Doesn't sound like a bad idea. I was thinking about that a lot on what motor esc combo to run b/c those traxxas motors would survive all the abuse and they're the best ones as far as durability in my opinion.

Has anyone talked to Jim about this?

i will be calling him at some pt soon.

matt, again ur presence was much appreciated. with our drivetrain and fan issues perhaps its not fair for those 2 motors that died. the 3rd was a rocket though. and we had to use the motor in the kit which is a weaker 540 unit.

i'm putting my sites on the 2.4 RTR brushless SC10s.

2.4-check
brushless-check
body color choices-4

hittin all the right buttons right now.
