I deal with many of townships in my job and they are getting way too big for their britches and very power hungry. They continually push their weight around with no check and balances to stop them. I can't wait to see the day someone takes one of these greedy townships to the cleaners and not just to township but the person in charge of department because when it finally happens other township dictators will get the message that they don not have unlimited power.

I think that saturday races would definately bring more racers in especially if it started like 2 or 3 giving people time to do other things in the am and still get to the track in time plus more people would travel from further away. I also personally would rather 5 minute races on Friday nights if that would give us time to get 3 rounds of qualifying in.

saturday afternoon racing sucks...
The last thing i wanna do is be stuck at the track all day and into the night on saturdays. If you race saturday you need to race in the am and be done by 5 at the latest.
Plus I am not really sure why you are all talking about racing saturdays, it has been said a few times in this thread that saturdays are not an option at this time due to the problems with the boro/township.....

I wouldn't change any start times.........reason being is this years attendance has been better than its been in 10 years so I wouldn't mess with what is working at this time.
Racing has actually grown at PS this year unlike many tracks that are loosing more racers. Just keep doing what your doing and do it well and they will come.

I agree! It is never good to change something that is working. Sure, not everyone will agree, but the masses have spoken in the form of larger then normal turnouts. The numbers don’t lie. I do think having one Saturday race a month would probably not be a bad idea as it will give folks that can’t make it after work on Friday an opportunity to race at least once.
With that said, are we racing this Friday? Does the weather look good?

Any jim stout law (or town ordinance) that would prevent the 2wd buggy community coming up on a saturday and using the track either for practice, fun/bbq/informal or even club race? The track is open on saturdays right?
Kinda similar to what we have been doing with backyard tracks recently.
