The spur gear is still in my tool box.
I just bought a set of 3Racing front knuckles for my M03, only to find out they don't fit and use different bearrings. The guy at HKS hobby told me that I had an older M03. I bought an older set that are bigger than the 3Racing ones and they work fine. The knuckles will be on fs forum tonight. What about the backs? I want to run 2.0 blocks but don't know if they will fit.

I recently built my M05 - need some troubleshooting help.
On throttle the car drives straight, off throttle the car moves left. I am running a new Tamiya ball diff and CVD's no "o" rings or foams in the cups. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Suspension and steering are free (has new Tamiya aluminum steering ). This one has me baffled.

Bearings... You probably have a bad one on one side... Under acceleration it can handle the spin... But once you slow down the friction comes into play slowing down the one side. You will have to check all of them.. The ones in the axles first and next the ones on each side of the diff.

I will check, did not think to go there the kit is new, maybe I have a bind - if that is not it - any other thoughts. I was thinking on-throttle the the front wheels will toe-in and of-throttle toe-out?
you need both of them , i think i will order all 4 pieces and test them on our outdoor track

Thankx...
There have been a few mini veterans struggle with the 5.
It seems they get better as they loosen up. Most find they take a couple of hours to "run in ".
I had rear shocks sticking a little, not allowing proper droop. Made the car a pig.
Also , rear tyres with too big an air gap can make them wander like mad.

Has anybody had any experience with the new ball dif for the M-05, and will it fit into the M-03?
Thanks
Thanks

The M05 ball diff will not work in the M03. The diff bearings are larger. The 2 diffs (Manta Ray and TA03) for the M03 will fit in the M05 with the included bearing adapters from the M05.
