I'm runnign a turbo plug, I tried to take the plug out and connect it with the glow plug ignitor, the plug wire didn't turn too bright but I'm not sure if turbo plug suppose to do that, I never used a turbo plug before. I'll try to play the low speed and see, thank!
IF it idled pretty loud and fast!!! (like high revs) then possibly your low end setting is to lean! try to turn it 1/4 anti-clockwise! if the car can idle at first and the coil in the glow plug glows than im sure the plug is enough to start the car up. turbo plug or non turbo plug have the same coil quailty i think its just at the start of its thread of the plug its tapered in. let us know how it goes

Default MR-12 engines!

Also guys im getting a mtx-3 with mr-12 engine this week and was just curious as i've came across a auction at ebay where this guy also had a MR-12 engine and he claims that it was a MR-12 turbo 3 port. I was wondering if the MR-12 is a non-turbo engine or turbo or do they come in both formats?

For the non-turbo MR-12 engines what plug suits them best accord to OS plugs ? or whats novarossi 6 plugs equivelant to OS #?

Thanks guys

Actually if does idel pretty fast but after I adjust the throttle servos it go a bit slower, I'll go ahead and experiment with the low end and see if it help. Also how can you tell if the glow plug is going bad? Thank!

only alkaline batteries are 1.5 volts, nicd or nimh are 1.25, trinity makes a nice pack for 20, a 3, 2 hump 800 mah suited perfectly for the mtx3, i got that one. 1,25 x 5 gives the 6 volts.
the mt 12 non turbo can be used with a turbo head?if anyone has tried this, what is the gained performance?

Default Prospec under construction

Here are some pics of my prospec under construction. Notice I lightened the flywheel and gear housings. The car has titanium hollow 2 speed shaft, Light brake disk, and some other cool stuff. The Neg diff should be here this week. What are you guys opinion who have tried the diff? Any good?
