how do i get it to work cause the orions have like a hole to balance and the lipo cutoff has three prongs to plug into how do i get this to work a link to what i need would be great thanks guys

Which lipo cutoff are you using? Hopefully not the Novak or Liposhield, because neither of those has worked for me.

I`m not happy to hear that , I just ordered two Novak cut offs .

I have two Novak XBRs with internal Lipo cutoff and two external Novak Lipo cutoffs and all have worked perfectly for me. I external is 2S and 1 is 4S.

Well, I was saying the Novak cutoff and Liposhield don't work with the Traxxas Slash, which I know $Tmoney$ has.

Now that I read his post again, it's not clear whether he's using it on his Slash or not.

The Novak cutoff should work with everything else.

Oh , ok . I just ordered two Orion lipos and a two novak cutoff . Both my escs they are going into are novak , so shouldn`t have any problems . I hope .

i havent ordered any cutoff yet but im wondering how it would work with an orion lipo since they use the tap hole instead of the wire coming out of the battery what one has worked with the slash?

Both cutoffs work pretty similarly (although again, on the Slash the Novak and Liposhield won't work very well, causing throttle to stutter badly).

The cutoff has a plug that goes into the receiver. The esc plug that normally goes into the receiver goes into the cutoff.

Lastly, the cutoff has a positive and a negative wire that goes into the ESC red and black outputs.

The balancing port is never used.

What does the balancing port have to do with the cutoff ? The cuttoff goes between the esc and rx .

ooooo for some reason i thought it used the balancing port i dont no what i was thinking i heard that the novak one works on the yellow xl-5 but for some reason it doesnt work on the blue one novak is currently tring to work that out
