Anybody using the Novak Mongoose ESC in their DB. If so what size motor are you running.

I have not but I have seen it done in 1/12 with a standard size 17.5. I do beleive that Novak does'nt support this application but the local who did this did so with no problems; so far.

I have never tried oil or surelube on king-pins.
Does this really make a difference or is it something
that only some pro drivers will notice?
Thx

ANd for clarification, where on the kingpins do you lube? I have been putting lube under the lower ball where the spring is and then moving it up and down a bit to work it in.

Nah... I am a slacker, normally I am focusing on other things between runs like the center shock, damper tubes and tires. The front king pins get a shot of lube every now and then. I dont think it makes a massive difference, but keeping em lubed seems to keep them a bit more smooth. Not as much of a difference as the damper tubes or rear shock thats for sure!
