spintec I.C.C charger
#46
Basically the same way a discharge tray can do each cell individually so can a charger.
If you connect your current charger across one cell, only that cell will be charged.
I guess this new charger will basically be 6 individual chargers, in one box, just a bit more complex, but you get the idea.

Mr. Shookie:
First batch of I.C.C.'s will be quite small, at the moment we just do not have enough production capacity to follow the market. We are expanding and improving this. So it could take some time before availability will be perfect. Sorry for this, hope you can understand.
John_S:
Thanks for the input. Yes, the charger will detect how many cells are in it. You make charging setups based on 1 cell, so cut off delta peak, etc. per cell. It then does not matter if there are 4 or 6 cells. For this charger, there is no difference in 4 or 6 cell charging as it only looks at individual cells
Bluey_74:
We only sell through official distributors. Take a look on our website to find yours!
Highwayman:
Pookat is right, basically. But the technology we use is very different than just making 6 chargers in 1 box.
GT Racer:
Yes, there will be data available of each cell individually!

ERIK lets just say that this charger will make almost every charger out there seem like it is in the darkages.
Gotta love it. I can not wait to get one....Already posting up two of my other chargers for sale now just to put that money aside for the ICC.
Keep cranking away at it Erik....Just get them out soon.
Thanks,
Stephen <><

Heibiki,
Maybe not at first.
But in due time software-updates will be available through downloads.
So it will be available, although maybe not right away.
(at least this is what Erik told me a litlle while ago when I asked him this)

Stephen, not much news. We're having all kinds of start-up problems with suppliers, but we are working hard on it. I will let you know when the first units are being shipped!
Hebiki, Mr. Pizzadude is right. Although it now looks like also the first firmware version will already have step charging function.

I have a question....what happens when 1 or more cells false peak in a pack is there any way to re-peak just that cell/cells or will the whole pack need to be charged again? Also is there a way to see when 1 or more cells false peak? It would suck to charge a pack and think its done only to have 1 cell with less of a charge in it. How does the ICC prevent something like this from happening?

An excellent question....
My guess is that it may need a lockout or something for the first few minutes ... then it auto reverts to detecting peaks again but i am sure Erik has it all planned out.
