after 4 years of 1/8 scale nitro buggy and truggy i drove a 10th scale 2wd buggy today for the 2nd time. fantastic. i just got a b4.1 and have been getting together the necessities and loved it today. very easy to drive with plenty of power but just enough you can get out of shape easy and wreck. you really have to drive the lines now. going back to just for fun driving at the track for a while instead of all out racing and all the pressures. also, put in my first parts order at amain, $70 for all spares i would need for a while. what was i thinking running 8th scale all this time?

hey guys whats up. I have a castle 5700 motor in my t4 with 3300mah 30c 2s lipo in it. and the motor tends to get pretty hot to the touch (not untouchable hot) after 8 minutes or so of bashing on a short grass field near my house. i have it geared 84/16 and am waiting for new 87t spurs in the mail. still heats up a bit even with that gearing. any advice on gearing or should i avoid grass for long periods of time??
