Easy-Off oven cleaner or castrol super clean, if they still make it. I'm sure others will chime in with other methods/chemicals.

Greased lighting works well too it's a degreaser you can get it at wally world (Walmart) or Dollar General

Any advantages from running pin vs hex rear wheels?

Yes, track width adjustment! With the hex setup, of course.

I was looking through pictures and it looks like a lot of the team drivers still use pin style wheels though.

Also is the inline front axle really necessary? Like I will really notice a change after putting them on?

I changed to the front inline axles and it felt way better in the turns. smoother.

Is it necessary? Not really. but it only cost about 9 bucks to upgrade to.

I like HEX in the rear. More bite I feel in the rim that a little pin.

As Brent said it is only a $9 upgrade and is a good tuning option. I did try the inline axles with the "standard" length chassis and it made the steering very sensitive and switched back to trailing axles. Give it a shot and let us know what you think

hey guys whats up. I have a castle 5700 motor in my t4 with 3300mah 30c 2s lipo in it. and the motor tends to get pretty hot to the touch (not untouchable hot) after 8 minutes or so of bashing on a short grass field near my house. i have it geared 84/16 and am waiting for new 87t spurs in the mail. still heats up a bit even with that gearing. any advice on gearing or should i avoid grass for long periods of time??

I would get the jconcepts ones, while you're at it upgrade the rollpins to the solid FT axle pins.
