Grid by far. I have both. Elite gave problems Emailed Elite, they never did a thing about it. Will never do business with them again. Grid is made better & sturdier. Top plate a plus also cheaper. Easier to change & adj pinion than Elite.

My RX8 is a dud apparently. I have a Castle MMP esc and I have heard some people use this in 1/8 buggies. I need to get something in the car for 1-2 weekends while I sort out the RX8 servicing. Does anyone who runs the MMP have a list of settings I can try for it?

RC8Be Tekin 1900 MMP on 4S. I have a BEC already on it. Small indoor high bite clay track. Anyone trust doing this?

Thanks.

Building another buggy from my spares and was wondering what sway bars are people using. I still have the older style sway bars and have silver and gold. The track I run on has a loose layer on top and is watered down. Traction is decent depending on tires. Also how far does the bar stick out of the end on the arm.

Use silver. Sticking out .5mm from swaybar socket. Also, another adjustment... top of sway bar eyelet to bottom of swaybar ball joint should be; front = 25.4 / rear = 27.4mm.

Although I highly recommend the 8.2 arms, sway bars, and "worlds" shock towers..

Default aftermarket bumpers

Does anyone know if these will work on the rc8be?

http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/products/assoc/chassis.htm

Mini Front Bumper
or
Wide Front Bumper

I know its says for the B4, but will it work or is there another after market vendor such as RPM for the 8be?

What you want is: 1) 8.2 wing mount 89540 2) 8.2 front arms 89550 3) 8.2 rear arms 89551 4) 8.2 F sway bar kit 89530 5) 8.2 R sway bar kit 89531 6) R upgraded shock tower 89484 7) F upgraded shock tower 89483

This will change few components of suspension geometry making car much more stable. New 8.2 wing mount takes care of having to modify old wing mount.
