Ok a question for you guys and the MTK slipper basket, anyone have any issues with the outer slipper plate rubbing on the outside edges of the aluminum basket due to misalignment? I have the vented slipper outer plate and once all assembled the slipper disk it's not centered within the MTK basket and looks like it will rub on the basket during use (haven't run the truck yet).
I have a brand new spur gear that I have tried to flip over and also clock to different positions when assembling the slipper assembly with the basket and it makes no difference. The outer slipper disk it's not centered over the adjoining pad and basket.
Oddly the spur, slipper disk and basket all appear to run true when spun by hand.
You can see the overlapping of the slipper disk over the basket edges in one photo, then I rotated the assembly 180° and took another photo to show areas the slipper it's located well within the basket edges.
Is this normal for everyone else running slipper setup or should I be concerned?

From what I have seen (and feel by playing with the suspension) they are better than the Factory Team shocks regarding spring rub on the shock bodies. Only time will tell.

Went racing on a big gnarly outdoor track last weekend. Check out the winning Losi' "wing".
He wouldn't take it off, he told me that "once I put one on, I'd never take it off". Those losi guys....

Is that even legal, do you guys care that he is running a wing? We have a guy that has an actual 1/8 buggy wing attached to his scrt. Its not a big deal cause he isnt going Tq and win. But if he did, people would be talkin....

It's not legal. It's not a Item designed for the Truck. or a 3rd party Short Course Body with it. (even then ROAR would decline it's legality.)

We had people get in an uproar over how many/how big of holes you could cut out of the back or windshield. If someone threw a wing on like that and wouldn't back down it would end in a DQ and the resulting skirmish would be on youtube the next day. lol

I kept mentioning the wing to dude, we wasn't going to take it off for nothing. The track owner, behind 2nd place guy, didn't say anything so ?????

I'm not really sure I dig the whole wing, the track does state that they follow HARC rules and HARC follows ROAR, i'm sure it gives him a bit of an advantage but not really sure. But then again, ROAR also states no side window cut outs and most of us have them.
