This set should be compatible with your engine:

If your outside sleeve diameter is 19.5mm and your crankshaft-pin is 5.00mm then all of the B01 parts are interchangeable.

Yesterday i used the T02 for the first time in race..damn nice mill
I´ve got 1,5 litre on it and it ran already 9:20 in my Moogen Truggy.

Changed for the Qualiefiers to my old B01T couse there low grip level and the .21 engines is better für my driving skill on that track.

This indeed normally does not happend, how much fuel have you run throught the engine?

some of the cooling fins of my B01T r nearly broken. The reason is the body shell that bend the fins down at crashes or bad landings. That normally only happens on truggy shells

That's already quite a lot, vibrations can make this happen after some time.

Default tecnopower bo1 21

hi to all,i recently got a bo1 21 second hand it had about 2 gallons on it,it came with an xray roller which is what i was really after, long story short i was havin a look inside the engine as they are a new type to me,while takin off the backplate i must have twisted it and broke a piece off the bottom of the piston,it seems the replaement part comes as a piston ,liner conrod set and is pretty expensive whaen all i need is the piston,i normally run the go gx11 ,does anyone know where or if i can just get a piston to get the engine runnin and try it out rather than spendin the big money on it without ever havin it runnin and not knowing what it is like ,thanks in advance ,jason

You have to rePlace the sleeve and piston at the same time.
Then do a break in.

Anytime you remove the back plate, the piston must be at top dead center, or you end with what you have, a piston skirt broken, the piston and sleeve come as a set, no replacement pistons are available.

Few things to take note of with this engine. The rear bearing is not very good so you should replace it at the 2-3 gallon mark. Mine went 4 gallons until it was really gritty. If you rush break in the rod/crank pin can develop slop. These engines take about a gallon to loose metal pinch. I got 9-10 minutes run time, and that's about normal with most of my engines. Of course there are many variables with run time so 9 minutes on my tracks could be 12 on yours.

Also when I ran the engine I tried out a different fuel, and that may have caused premature wear and other issues. At 5 gallons there was some slop in the rod and it couldn't hold a stable idle. I've owned both the Tecnopower and the Alpha and I liked the Alpha better because of its longevity. The b01i did had a nice smooth power band for buggy, although for some it may not have enough bottom end.
