Yes that is normal. But you should dial the brakes down on your remote until it stops clicking

I'd adjust belt tension.

I can lock down the wheels and it won't skip at all. Positions are: rear one notch below maximum tension, front in the middle.

Depends on surface mostly.

Tight bumpy tracks, no swaybars. Tight even tracks, lightest swaybars. Open even track, medium/hard swaybars.

That, and personal preference, of course.

By the way, here's my stiffener setup.

Aluminium tube, compressed on the edges, bolted right onto the chassis. Allows for a bit of side flex, neglects 100% of the front/rear flex.

It is so stiff that I tied up the belt tunnel onto it to avoid it bending again.

was looking at the setup sheets on rc10.com and was wondering most are running between 24 and 26mm ride height front and rear. How are they getting this low ride height? I have to thread my shock collars all the way up and then the shocks feel dead feeling. My shocks came built from the factory and I havent opened them up.

Yea 25 26 is average. I run mine as close to 25 all around as possible. Maybe you should check how much oil is in the shocks. Something is allways wrong with the shocks when they already come built from the factory. I would check everything and put new oil in front and rear your self and see if that helps.

Also where are you measuring ride height at?

Im currently running a LRP x12L and want to try running a LRP x12 540 can. Im gonna run the 32 spurs but where should i start pinon wise? I have a 5.0 octa wind and a 4.5 that Im gonna be using. My 6.5 is on loan at the momet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And befor someone tells me to look at the first page or search, I have spent a little more than 30 minute searching this thread and haven't found anything yet. Plus, im looking for 32 pitch help, not 48. Thanks again folks.

thanks Chad. Also on the diffs should I stay with the 3000 front and rear or go up? I was thinking of going 30wt in all the shocks. Would that be a good starting point

I tryed 35 weight in the front with the stock mounting holes. And it felt to stiff. 25 to me is a little to light in the rear, so im going to try 27.5 in rear and stay with 30 up front and see how that feels. But 30 weight all around would still be a good starting point. The 3.5 diffrence in the rear will not make that big of a diffrence.

I am running stock diff weight as of know, but going to switch it up for the indoor season.

Need some advice on what to run with diff fluid. I am having trouble keeping the truck straight when pushing it real hard. Will thicker fluid in the front diff fix that promblem? As of know im running stock front and rear. Also will be running on Yellow clay if that makes a diffrence.
