Some guy name Anthony Mazzara took first place.I hear he's a big racer down hear on the East Coast. He was on rails with his driving.

Anyway just wanted to say Thanks,Tho I called you for a totally different motor.......I could not be MORE pleased that you convinced me to get this one!
I agree, the Argus is a wicked engine from what I can see so far..a friend bought one for his buggy and it RIPS with an 086..a real head-turner.

Wow your friends got one of these in a buggy? That must be a crazy sight, cause it tosses my truggy around like nothing.....I was thinking of getting one for my buggy,,,,,,but after seeing the power that it has,,,,i just thought it would be a little to much for a buggy, even with gearing it.

I just ran over a good friend of mines brand new os speed in a HB D8 buggy,,,
with my truggy... down the staight, and heavy turning hard accel low end torque.

Novarossi and Fusion Motorsports (FMS) parted ways last year. Those engines are discontinued and have replaced with the Fusion X line of engines which are made by Novarossi exclusively for Jim Hottinger at FMS.

I have no way to tell what you do or don't know. Just giving some info. If you can find a FMS NIB you can send it to Neal and he will mod it for you. I'm sure it will be an extreamly insane engine.

Why don't you buy a Fusion X 7port engine and send it to Neal ?
Once he gets it in his hands and puts the voodoo to it, I'm sure
it's going to be a bad arsed engine. I talked to Neal about that
FMS engine. He put a of alot of time and effort into it to get that
engine performing the way it does. I'm sure the new Canadian Truggy
Champion really appreciated all the machine work that went into that
engine too.

In the end I feel the Bonito is still the most powerful of the three.... The bottom end it has is over the top and it screams like a banshee on the top end.... The FMS was stout, but even after mods did not have the yank out of the corner of the Bonito......The FMS runs like a stout .21, but the Bonito runs like a mod 28...apples to oranges IMHO..... If someone thought a P5 had bottom end, a few laps with the mod Bonito would truly warp their minds......

I really prefer to work on new engines....too many things can be wrong with a used engine..I will from time to time modify used engines, but I definitely prefer new ones.....

Us lucky ones get to wheel with Peck nearly every week. Yeh he is fast. I am sad to say that there has never been a race where he hasn't lapped me at least 3 times or more.

You will not find a better racer on an off the track. Always willing to help.

Nice story by the way. I got excited !!!

I showed up on 9/09 (Friday) for open practice for one reason only, to warm up my Clocked O.S. 25xz and see where I was at in terms of fuel milage...I got 14:48! On Saturday 9/10 I get to the track a little bit later than I wanted to for race day #1.. I was up at 4am that morning preparing food to sell at the track, so by the time I even got to the track I was completely exhausted, but ready to race....By the time I set up the hot dog stand, made the coffee, and displayed the burritos, it was already time for my first qualifier!

Unlike everyone else there I didn't get to even run any practice laps before racing! My practice was my first qualifier, in which I came in 6th.. 2nd qualifier I came in 5th. At this point the A-Main is already set for the next day and I need to place in the top 2 of the B-Main to get bumped into the A-Main.. 9/11, Sunday and final race day, I am starting in 5th in the B-Main.. I decided not to be a food vendor on Sunday because it was just to tiring to be running the food sales and trying to race too..So, I got my sleep on Saturday night, got to the track early Sunday morning, and started my day out right!

Okay, 5th position is where I sit in the B-Main, I have to place in the top 2 to bump up into the A-Main...GO! Its "F"en on buddy I start tearing through the B-Main like a violent storm working my way up to the 2nd place position within a half a lap! Then First! It is me and Frank Royal, who is sponcered by Argus, and we're battling it out, and its brutal! Then we come to the final turn right before the 150ft straight away, we even out with each other at the start off the straight away, hit the small double and then I leave his Argus in the dust with my Clocked O.S. 25 From there on out I maintain 1st place with Frank occassionally challenging me for my position but never taking over.. Him and I manage to gain a 1.5 lap lead on everyone else with me finishing in 1st place...

I am now bumped up into the A-Main and will be sharing the track with the likes of Casey Peck and Lars Johnson (DAMN THOSE GUYS ARE FAST!).. The A-Main is 30 mins long and my Clocked O.S. 25 is running like a champ, sipping on S&W fuel! The A-Main starts, and is the final race of the day on the 1/8 scale track..At this point the track is EXTREMELY NARLY! Rutted up, chewed up, holes everywhere.. I do my very best, but only manage to seize 7th place! But, not to bad being that this is only my 5th race ever! I feel honored to have been able to be on the same track at the same time as a kick butt driver like Casey Peck! Did I mention how friggen fast that guy is

A side note on my fuel milage.... On practice day I ran a 14:48 on one tank.. Qualifiers were only 7mins so no problem! B-Main was 15mins so I decided to pit at 10mins, why chance it? My pit guy said that when he filled me up at 10mins that I was just under a half a tank..Cool! A-Main was 30mins, so I continued to pit at 10mins..My pit guy said at 10mins in the A-main that I was on fumes.. Very weird I guess I must have been running twice as hard for the A-Main!
Anyways, here is the Truggy A-Main action from start to finish! My Truggy is the Losi 8T 2.0, sky blue in color with orange flames in front, white wing, white wheels..Enjoy!

It was a good time at that race and I had a blast talking with you Neal, Josh is excited to get his hands on the engines to run from you. He is notoriously bad with fuel milage as you could tell from his driving style..
