Sorry to ask questions again, but does a castle creation 1410 motor can be driven by a Hobbywing 120A ESC?

I've read it was possible but am still suspicious, 4 poles motor is not an issue for standard 1/10 ESC?

Our track is very small compare to what you have in US, should be good, at least to learn the truck.

I drive the grey/yellow lazer on this vid :

EDIT : oops, I've just realised you're from Netherlands and not US...

Just got my truck in the mail, very impressed by the engineering that went into this truck.
I have a Tekin 5.5 540 motor that I would like to run on 32 pitch. If I follow the FDR in the manual this puts me at a 10T pinion. Will a 10/62 fit ? or is the 10 to small.
I was hoping to order some pinions tonight. Maybe 10/11/12 ?
Any advice

I will be running this winter indoors on a clay tight track, hoping the 540 will do for the winter than maybe look into a 1410 or 5.5 550

My ESC is a Xerun 2.1 120a also if that helps

Thanks for the help. I'm using a lrp tc v2 and a lrp x12 6.5 540 can with a HT 13mm rotor. using the 4dot so no timing in the motor and no timing in the esc and it is getting super hot like 200.. and I know people have run these cooler so its gotta be something binding causing more friction and I have checked just about everything else. Also with the pinion off you should be able to turn the spur pretty easily correct like verrry verry little resistance like a 2wd? I am running the clutch basket as well.
Try running 4/4, thats what im running, and like you said, dial out some breaks until it stops slipping.

I run a 5.5 540 and on our indoor track I run 14/93. Your 10/62 should work fine

That's not a "small" track if the argument is smaller than ours. That's a very decent track for all of our northwest US indoors (rain)

Yes you're right, I forgot about the indoor tracks and was thinking about the nice and wide outdoor ones.

That's indeed more than enough power for me, at least to start with this truck, we'll see if we go mad later...
