Really? The engine that qualified 2nd and 4th at the recent 8th Worlds cost $380US. Piccos are in the $400s. Last time I checked in NT, you needed a Nova based engine to be competitve...priced them up lately?

Grenades? You need to come and hear the 12s rev at the end of our straight compared to the 21s.

you really think that engine was off the shelf $380 dollar engine? Come on man... Way more guys pop 21's than 12's. Especially with the new 7604 conrods in 12's.. Hand mod 12's are 500, 21's are 6-9bills...

You asked to price a competitve engne in your original post. I named two. Obviously off the shelf engines are not what the pros use. Do you really thing Pietsch's pts that won the Euro's is the same engine you are buying for $500? It's going in circles dude.

Back to the MTX5 topic....

mugen really did go all out with this.

a lot of things that are after market with most brands are standard in the 5. Looks like Mugen raised the bar on this one.

For someone who is a bit of a hop upholic, i really can't see much more that can be hoped up except for an angled brake lever, titanium pivot balls and screws

I will hate whoever gets theirs before I get mine...

And that diff, I wondered but thought composite gears may be an option, looks like we got the goods right out of the box, I'll be very curious to compare the weight of mine to the weight of the Yoko electric diff I have in the back of my TOP Photon...

How did you get the car in early September?so arrive early too me ... ha ha.
The engines that have the official drivers are "selected": coupling, bearings. Engines that have nothing to envy, such as performance, at the Novarossi are The SIRIO. European price in € 289 for Sirio Nemesis XXX Tuned, including muffler / collector.
