Thanks,

I have seen runtimes vary from 8-12 minutes.... My favorite budget pipe is the OFNA 086...from the Nova lineup a 2096 or 9886...The engine seems to prefer a very short manifold....On smaller technical tracks the engine can get amazing runtimes, but on our larger wide open track the runtimes drop, but to be fair no engines get great runtimes on our track....The long stroke of this engine gives it a very unique feel, its powerband pulls very strong and linear from a very low RPM, which gives the truggy the ability to effortlessly clear short run obstacles that it normally would not be able to do.....

What a weird place for your shock shaft to break Nid! I can see it snapped right at the thread. Cant believe you finished the race like that. Awesome feat in itself

This was my first race with my new Clocked Bonito, and I managed to pull all the fastest laps that we've seen at our club to date! I couldn't be happier with my gear! I broke a front shock shaft about 5 laps out from the end of the race, but didn't lose the spring or the spring cup, and still came out on top at the end

..believe it or not, these are my new FAVOURITE tire:

A big thank-you to Neal and John for getting this engine out to me lightning fast..and Neal, thanks for breaking it in for me, I would have never had the chance to do it with my hectic schedule! Just like your engines, your service is second to none, keep it up guys! The fancy name stickers are just icing on the cake! THANX AGAIN!

Congrads on the win Nid. I'm going to get Neal to mod one of those
Bonito engines for me eventually. But, he is going to be getting
three more engines in my arsenal to mod before I'll be buying the
Bonito engine.
I also liked running the X-Cons tires, but found that the wheels
break pretty easy. I can see, in the pic of your broken shock,
that you also have a broken wheel near the tire bead.

Thanks James..to be honest, I thought that it broke a shaft, but it turns out that the screw holding the piston on had backed out. It was weird, I had a 'feeling' that something felt funny while I was racing because my truggy was behaving really funny at times but I couldn't figure out why. I only noticed it after the race was over when I went to dust it off lol. I love this CRE Bonito engine, the power is outstanding, and it's not even close to it's full potential yet..I can't wait.

Neal likes Novas? Hell has frozen over! Neal, this is causing earthquakes and hurricanes on the east side, lol. I'm looking forward to racing this weekend, it's been too long. Finally getting better. Will be running a track sat that's OS25 friendly. Fun, fun. Guess i'll snag a nova soon. Keep up the great work.

Well it all starts innocently enough.... several people sent in Nova's to be modified, and we did several 28's for the MT's...the results from the modified Nova's were so good we were constantly getting requests, so with having Serpent the Nova's fit in nicely for us.... Also I modify these engines because I love working on them, I enjoy testing and tweaking new engines which is part of what keeps me going.... I find unlocking the power in new engines interesting and its a huge part of the hobby for me....if I only could work on one single brand I would likely stop modding engines out of boredom...Working on something fresh and new is refreshing and keeps things interesting for me....

Wouldn't it be cool to name one of your modded mills after George. Like the OS .28, call it The George.
