But the TDC completely lose, I can easily swing the engine by the flywheel.

No problems with compression ?
On the straight my BP was not so quick as a Max . But my BP is not free at all .
Can be that the speed will encrease a bit . I will try the combination 2015 with long manifold . But maybe I try the 2018 . On the most engines the 2018 gets out more rpm .
But how is your clutch setting pinions and gear ?
I run my with 16 49 / 20 46
Will try to go down on 19 46 ...

I have to try . Thank you for the info . How long do the BP last normaly ?

New P/S/R received!!! Start to break in soon. This time, I want to try something different, I read the Break-In Bible, I want to use 25% fuel with slight rich to break-in by heat cycle, the P/S/R can stand for it?

I broke in the 2nd set 935 RT S/P/R, interesting the mid pic up is very slow, and I can't lean more , why?
The carburator problem? I don't think the 9 ports +2 will have this performance. T_T
I messed the factory set up, so what should it be? Flush all needles?
And, what is the thickness of overall headshim? 0.4mm? or more?
I'm using Odonell 99T plug, shd using hotter plug? Thx!

Hi,
Just wondering, is this engine works well on BP #4 or #5 plug in normal weather? So whats the grade of #4 / #5 equipvelant to Nova or Odonell plug?
I'm using Odonell 99T plug, the timing is much delay than I expect, lack of bottom end power and lot of smoke.

Ok . Letīs talk about BP again . After we do some testīs in how to handle this engine we discovered some ...
The first engine I used , was heated up only in the breakin . After 2 liters we stopped heat up the engine befor starting .
Result .: The engine ended without compression after 5-6 liters .
Second engine : We heated up the engine always befor fireing it up . We stopped heating up befor start when we noticed that the piston didnīt stuck enymore in cold state .
Now the engine got 10 liters and got enough compression .
We noticed that all three BPīs stucks a lot when new . I think that this is the reason when the engine losts a lot of compression in a very litle time . Because the most wear is in the cold state of all engines .
We tested Roga Fuel . This Fuel is amazing .
Try it and you will see .
The third engine is grinded bei us . And after 3 liters now , compression and power are very very good and comparable with Max Engines .
The third engine runs with a Nova Conrod . R7 . But I donīt know if this is worth to do .
The other two engines after changing the conrod (after the breakin) works very good . The conrod now work for about 4 liters I got no worrys that it will break in the next 1-2 liters .
On the exhaust , the solution that garen mentioned was the best .
We tryed the 2018 ....but fuel consumption was high and the power was not so much more .
Ok for last . We recognized that each engine got itīs own soul . And so each and every engine have to be treated in a different method .
What is good for Picco and Nova is not automaticaly good for a BP .
I learned this in the last weeks . The engine is pretty good . you have to change the way of doing with this engine .
The 7 light got enough Power . I donīt know if I would choose a 9Tuned again .
The 7 light tuned by us ( the last engine ) is awsome .

Yes, thats what I feel
I played 2 S/P, the first set following the instruction, it said break in around 80C, I think this temp is too cold for this engine during break in period. lost compression end up around 2L of fuel.
The second P/S, break in around 90C, the engine can run in proper temp, but the conrod worn out very fast, it's broken around 2L also.
Interesting thing is, the engine getting cold very fast during off throttle, this contrect and expansion actions make the compression go away (I think). I took the first p/s to run yesterday, it can go very fast in high rpm even no compression and low end power, the temp is still very cold around 80c something, I even used the 6c OS plug, it can't generate any heat.

I donīt think that itīs a problem of plugs . I think that the original BP is one of the best . It didnīt matter if I had some issues on some BP plugs .
Anyway . A engine that stucks a lot , need some degrees more to widen the sleve . Yesterday I called a friend of me . He told me that I was right . My friend is a engine genius . Important is when you run in your engine in off throttle that the temperature is a litle bit higher . About 80-85 degrees .
And befor you fire up the engine , you have to preheat it with a heatgun .
I changed the conrod after the braekin . After about 2 liters . And if the engine stucked a lot I change the bearing too . For the first 5 literes I use a fuel with higher oil percentage
I polished the BP conrod and I find that it will last some longer . Round all edges.
