Schrijver - how is the "rijv" part of you name pronounced - I take it "Sch" is the same as in German?
Very difficultto say my name in English but i'll try to.
I think something like this:
Sg-rai-fer

Don't need to try. Else, you'll get our tongues twisted. Dutch names are generally pretty difficult to pronounce. Look at Julius' name.

To be honest, I have a new M8 and am nervous about installing it because of the missing fail-safe. I've ordered one but like you I've gone back to the 3PK ... definitely more convenient and safer ...!

Sch is like the sch in "school"? Is the dutch V like the German one? i.e. pronounced like an f?

Is it easier in German?

That's why I like Futaba. I could switch on the Rx first and if the servos were moving by itself when I have still not switched on my Tx, then I would know that somebody in on the same frequency as me ! No harm done to anybody. If you switch on your Tx first before the Rx, then I'm pretty sure you'll get into trouble. Just my opinion.
Yup, that's an old habit of mine too. Have definitely saved my car from clashed frequencies more than once!

Guys, there is a new version of the FAQ coming - Glenn Cauley has worked hard in making the old FAQ into a real profesional document Looks great!!!

The only minor setback is that the doc is now over 500k, can't actually be directly posted here now.

Sow, could you donate a bit of space on 3hobby for the FAQ? Then I can make a new link in my Sig, so everyone can have access to the doc.

Cheers, Mark.
Mark ... with pleasure! Let me know when you want to upload it and I'll try and make it happen.
