is your carb seated all the way? mine wasnt and was a tuning headache. took the the pinch bolt out and seated the carb all the way in the neck. problem solved.

yup, like i said i believe its the needles as they are loose, i know i prob could fix the issue very easy i just like the nova to much

Has anyone ran the dynamite 2081 with this engine. Do you think that engine will be ok on that pipe?

I have ran it with an 081, 2060, and 053 and the motor ran more efficiently with the 2060 and 053, didn't notice much from the 081 besides crappy mileage.

Just over the 2+ gallon mark and motor is still smooth, reliable and flameout free. Gonna switch from 6.5 to 7.0 restrictorand see if I can get more horsepower without sacrificing 10 minute runtime, keep ya'll posted.

What are stock needle settings for new break in motors. I just dropped some Arrow guts in an old speed I had.

On an Arrow carb, all needles flush.

I broke in my new arrow tonight and man is that thing tight but after two tanks it sounds really good.Can't wait to take it to the track and see how she does.Lee

The new Arrow Racing GTR-21 version 2 engines are now available. They have a new redesigned crank case that is a little thicker & stronger. The new cases have a different Arrow logo on the side of the block.

We have had many pro drivers test the engine over the last few months and so far they all love it. They say it is smoother and gets better fuel mileage then the OS XZ-B V-spec. It is more like the older VZ-B Speed without the DLC crank & ceramic bearing.

Approx what sort of settings are most people having once the engine has been run in?

Also, what about the mid needle? I have noticed most people are running at 2 o'clock but some have it at 10 o'clock...

Thank you. Looks like I am a bit rich on the bottom which I suspected. With the mid flush, where was the screw pointing- 2 'o clock, 3'o clock or 10 o'clock?

Mine is at 2 'o clock

mine is at the stock location still after almost 3 gallons. by turning the mid-needle to the 2' o clock position do u gain more low or top end power? or perhaps even both?
