just tore down my kit to clean it, I notice alot of parts are just slopppy and worn. I have had it for a month and the rears hubs and totally loose. Arms have play, it feels like crap......what are you guys doing to stop this? I clean after every run with pledge and wd 40.
Just me
replace arms , hubs, ball ends& studs,shock seals ,
new rear bearings , CvA, Transmission top shaft & counter gear, with
new outdrives ....
every 6 to 7 weeks ...
for me thats every 28 club races , including practice days..

I don't know if it makes a difference for you but I run the stock class. I'm not going as fast as nascars or top fuel dragsters.

From: RIP 'Chopper', 4/18/13 miss you bud:(
anyway the vibration is from your tires not being balanced, most likely..
Might want to edit you sig. then, never seen a stock buggy with a 10.5

whoops forgot to change that. Changed from mod to stock when I realized my lap times were faster when my car was slower. I am able to control it better.

Sounds like 4 rebuilds for you is about 4 months
I wish i could run that much but i only have 1 track within less then an hour travel for me and they are only open for 1 race day and 1 practice day every week
It's hard to travel much farther when you have young kids and one on the way

Lots of guys do that, turn over equipment every season. That way, they're starting the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter seasons with new stuff. The bonus is that they usually sell great condition stuff off for a very fair price, letting newbs and guys that want to try their hand at something different get into it much cheaper and easier. As a bonus, they're a good resource for set up and parts information.
Those are the kinds of people at your track that you play nice with!
