No hotter than 150, then the fan kick on. the hobbywings fan continuously runs so it says cooler. I just prefer sensored, or the option of running sensored.

ok i have mine working pretty good as of last nite... but keeps getting somewhat warm. running a havoc pro sc w/ balistic 4.5 550, after a 6 min heat esc is around 100 and motor is 170-180. ran 14/62 with no timing and 12/62 with 25* timing at 6,000 rpm and temps are the same. pulled everything apart this am and there is no binding, rolls forever with belt off. also ran it 12/62 with no timing last saturday nite and it was 175 after the 10 min main. air temp is around 75-80 on average. any help would be appriciated thanks

Oops, I forgot to ask about batteries. This will be my first brushless RC, and I need to know what minimum C rating, and how many amp/hours I'll need to make this thing a run like a rocket for at least 10 minutes. I'll probablly run the Castle 1410, and the Mamba Max Pro ESC.

If you haven't lately, check the outer bolts that hold the rear chassis section to the middle. If your chassis gap is 1mm or so more than likely you have broke out the bolt holes. This area is only 1.5mm thick.
This will be my second rear chassis that they have broken out of.

i havent run the truck yet since reassembling, but it should work.. an oops in the mold for the center chassis piece is the culprit..

What is the motor everyone is really liking in the SC10 right now? I am finishing the build up here pretty soon and I am thinking about the castle 4 pole. Anyone using this motor? Any gearing suggestions?

Hello, was wondering if anyone who runs on a large outdoor dry dusty slick track has any suggestions on what sway bars they used. Yes, I know the best way is to test them at my local track and use what's best suits me. I'm looking for a starting point.
My thoughts are the 2.2 Yellow up front to help lessen front grip / entry steering and the 1.5 White in the rear to increase rear traction / less on power steering Or should I use the same size sway bars front and rear?
Any suggestions or experience would be appreciated.
