i never like the VZB, i had a few and they all felt weak, this one reminds me of the JP modified one, but i still think it has a little more than it, it might just be putting the power to the ground, but it gets going in a hurry.
Wow VZB felt weak

Default GTR

I have 2 1/2 gallons on my GTR and it is a good motor, and have had the old style speed, and wouldn't even compare the 2. Don't get me wrong, its a good motor for the money, there's alot of new motors out now, and I've tried a few, and I'll leave it at that.
My motor set up was posted a few pages back, mine is set up for smooth linear power band, mad power doesn't mean much if you can't plant it. I also get better than average run times, theres a few here that were there when I ran a 12 minute main on the big track at Fear Farm on one tank.
I did pull the break in shim out after 1 gallon and am still running a P3 plug.
I will say the head does sit alittle lower than others and is lighter.

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not knoking the motor, I've had good success with it,just giving an my opinion

GTR still running strong with zero tuning issues (love the carb), this motor has become my official big race motor.

I never touched the mid needle but every hour turn on the high/low needles produces some effect and it stays there.

Got one tank thru it, had to stop mid way of cleaning due to dinner . Idled the first tank, was a pain to start, totally forgot stock is 8mm res. and i put 6.5 so it comes stock rich and i made it even richer doing that lol. After some needle tweaking idled great didnt die or give me any issues. Really hope i get enough fuel thru it before friday

arrow has 20$ rods and 60$ cranks!

bullit cranks are 160$ as well.
You are correct, same as the OS XZ-B Speed p/s
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAETB&P=Z

The Arrow P/S are way cheaper. $80
http://www.vp-pro-usa.com/engines/ar...category_id=86

The Bullitt B-218 is also $420, the Arrow is only $235.
OS XZ-B Speed vs VZ-B V-spec

don't think that's all correct Gene. The Arrow p/s/r is the same as the VZB version, not XZB...

still, way cheaper

The Bullitt p/s is the same as the XZ-B. How the Bullitt B-218 got brought up in the Arrow GTR thread is beyond me though.

Anybody on here using the losi re10 or re11 pipe with there new motor? Thinking of buying one of the 2 pipes and was wondering which one may be the better choice.

I'm using the Losi RE10 with the 8mm restrictor. I get 8.5 to 9min rt. Will be gettimg a 7 this week. Combo has plenty of bottom and all I had to do was put a 14t bell on it to get more topend and still have bottom to spare.
