Looks like Steve Hartson is running the T4.1 chassis on his B4.1. Hmmmmm....
Have you tried it yet? I built a second buggy up with the T4 chassis. To me it mellowed out the buggy. I felt like it jumped better and you could push it harder but in the end I liked the on edge feeling of the buggy chassis better. I abandoned it when we went inside last winter. One note it was not the t4.1 chassis so it may be worth another look. You going to Loganville next weekend? Gonna be fun! Triple A-mains!

This is what worries me about the t4 chassis. Any small track I think it would be pushy. I haven't seen anyone locally get the 22 to not be push yet? They claim its not but it sure looks it.

I haven't tried it, but might test it @ TT. I also like the slight twitchy but controllable feel of the B4.1. I havent participated in any of the GCS series races but I think I might go, the triple A-main format is cool. Hopefully the track is better since they have completely redone it.

From what I've read, Tekin has the best CS and reliability record out there. If either of my Novaks blow up I'm switchin to Tekin RS.

What you have is fine. Tekins are great but they all work if you take care of them.

It looks like he is running the JC Iluzion body but did some additional cutting of the antenna hole. Can anybody tell me what is under the ESC and receiver? It's black and flat but obviously not standard on the chassis.

Tekin is the ticket for stock racing or 13.5 Alot of guys claim its not as good for mod motors (most like the smoothness of the lrp for mod) But as far as customer service Tekin wins in a blowout. Some team tekin guys were at the AMS race last weekend and when guys had a problem they stepped up and replaced it.

All I can make out are the weights behind and to the side of the rx.

When the new R10 ESC from Orion comes out, that will be the ticket. From what I have heard it will have the smoothness of the LRP with adjustability of a Tekin. I'm picking one ASAP!

This is a better pic of what I'm referring to.

It's not a full length t4 chassis. It has been shortened to be an in between the b4 and t4 length. The pieces on the side are most likely carbon that is used to help join the chassis together once it has been cut and glued back together for added strength.

No, the parts aren't warranted for breakage. If it was broken out of the box then yes, but if you hit something to cause it to break then it's on you.
