If this is your 1st clock engine your going to love this setup once U get a few tanks through Neils mill it will wake up like theirs no tomorrow.

Neals work is clean and precise. His slugged cranks look
sweet. You're not going to see his sleeve work looking all
Powerhacked, like some other modders prefer to do.

I will second that when i pulled down the engine i was amazed how Neal goes about his mods, No wonder you get extra power with great run time.

Powerhacked...lol. I know what you mean. I still want to see the mods to satisfy my curiosity.

Anyone want to share some pictures? Neal?

working on my engine. At least I hope.

there is a ton of work in there if you know what your looking at. things like port and blowdown timing, crank timing, squish band, head clearence, compression ratio etc (i really have no idea what i am talking about lol) it will be hard for someone to see unless they know what they are looking at. But things like lightened piston and rod, sluged and filled crank are plain as day. so basically, everything on that engine has been moddified. All the ports, crank, P/S and head button. Possibly even case volume. Now days most engines come with optimal air flow. It's all about timing with neil. And what a DIFFERENCE it makes!!!!

I often wonder though, if a modder can get this more performance by adjusting the timing, why don't engine manufactures do this to begin with?

Most all "Black" heads are a Super deep hue of Purple, I dont know if they can get a True BLACK anno or not.

Honestly they are not much to look at.....the main changes in the engine that have the most effect are some of the least visible.....All the sleeve ports have been cut to some extent or another...but side by side with a stocker your not going to see much in a photo really....maybe a little I guess....the head buttons are cut...but they look stock ( more or less )....likely the most visible work is on the crank, piston, rod....

Well not quite there yet ! but your engine is definitely on the bench for next week........ However your not kidding about working late... This week has been a ball buster for both myself and Johny, every single night we were up to the week hours of the night....by the time last night came around I was soo exhausted I couldn't keep my eyes open at 10 PM...

I have a C6 here that I am going to test hopefully this week.... I have a few little tricks I want to test out before I commit them to your engine....As we both you want it as crazy as it can possibly be !!!!

Well i let a really good factory sponsored driver wheel my truggy with the new clocked 25XZ yesterday. I asked him to wheel it so i could tune it. Got it back 2 tanks later, lol. He ran it balls to the wall and had a blast. The only thing he muttered from the drivers stand was "i can't believe the tire glue is holding up". Really nice running engine. Had to gear it up some. Very little throttle input got the job done. Didn't time any tanks since it only had 750cc of fuel before it hit the track yesterday but i kept thinking it had to be out and still had over 1/2" left in tank. Nice job on this one guys.
