You may be right it's kinda hard to tell from the picture, but I'm gonna say it's still a little bit to big. With the Venturi in you shouldn't hardly be able to see the gap at all. Correct me if I'm wrong someone.

Thats a good point however I think it is the short bell more than the shims as I only have 2 very thin shims as only one hits the clutch and 2 is very close. I did not shim the bell to make the mesh right only to clear the clutch. I have a brand new truggy to assemble this week and it has a new bell and I bet it will fit correctly.

when i went to put my m2c clutch on i had to shim the flywheel with 2 shims just to have the flywheel clear the carburator housing. At that point my mugen bell would not fit, and i had to use a bell very similar to the one you see in the picture. That bell has a very short neck and mine looks like his in the picture. As long as all of the shoe hit the bell and i keep my 0.5 play that is all that matters.

Hi guys,

I have a stock 2010 spec B5 and was wondering if I needed to remove/add any head shims. I'm using Byron's 30% nitro and O'Donnell 97T plug. I'll eventually switch to Werks #6 plugs as soon as I can find them in stock.

dynamite 3 vent tri nitrate coated bells. For some reason they are harder to find. But the one i use is 2 years old with almost no wear. And it's about 1.5 mm shorter then the mugen bells. Perfect!

The spur is very old as well as the bell they have only been used together for about 10 tanks and the mesh is good for being so worn out but like I said I will be running new truck with new spur and bell so no worrys there SHIMS and mesh will be correct
