Just wanted to share some hobbywing experience with you guys ... sadly race 2 weeks ago was suspended due to heavy rain, but saturday practices allowed me to test on track my 8.5 stock configuration ... great experience so far, 99% of the guys use tekin, novak, orion, etc ... and this XTREME STOCK + 8.5 from hobbywing was hanging up with all of them and even showed better torque all around, im very happy and will track test again this weekend ...

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP ON THIS FORUM GUYS !!

cya !

Great thread
The 120A is excellent for 1/12. Get used to fellow racers asking "wheres your voltage booster? "

I should start posting some 13.5 Boosted WGT setups in acouple of weeks. We unfortunately havnt had the weather to get the bugs worked out of the car yet.

Shawn.

We are running on a 45x60 very technical track. The infield is all 180's. Lap times are about 8.8 to 9.5 for the fast guys. So I have been running my 12th on a SP 10.5 with about 5 degrees of mechanical timing and with a gtb. Non timing esc and I am great in the infield but the only part that I lack ofer the tekins is the straight. But there is a hard 90 after the straight that we need to slow down for.

So I am going to start really conservative with about .4 sec delay about 10 degrees of timing and no turbo

Is there a good way to get some more jam exiting a corner

I dont have experience running a 10.5 with this ESC, as our club runs 17.5 boosted.

Your best bet would be to find M7H's 13.5 setting, and work from there. Its probably closer to what you are going to need. Just change the rollout for a 10.5 motor.

You will quickly find how people setup the HW speedo to be very different from each other, I personally like alot of boost and very little turbo, where some guys have almost no boost, and then alot of turbo for the big straight.

I have a problem with my speedo... I have the 2.1 xerun 120a...

As I tested the car in the afternoon with half charged battery it was all working fine.
I come at the track, charged my pack, want to drive, no throttle...
It gives power to the servo but when i use the throttle it wont do nothing.
Now I tried to recalibrate it and it beeps a few times really fast with red lights.
Now I've read that it could be the battery.

I have 50c lrp 5900.
On the charger it says 8.40 volts, that should be fine isn't it?
Motor 13.5 speed passion, which works as we have swapped motors in different cars.

Also got some new intellect 60c, not used yet. Maybe I should try those?

Or is my speedo just broke? Only 2.5 days used

Your battery could have dropped a cell .Use a new pack and drop your lipo cut off of the esc to 3.0v .

Hi Guys

Just some info about alot of copied ezrun 35 amp and 60amp ecs's floating around on Ebay from hong kong sellers .

Your purchasing at your own risk from these ebay sellers from hong kong .

watch for clear switches, packaging serial numbers not matching your esc or your warranty card serial number .and very low pricing like $55 or $65 us for a 60 amp combo also hobbywing does not supply a 7.5T ezrun motor.5.5T and 8.5T are the only ones .Spelling mistakes are a big alarm bells on packaging, instructions, and product

so be careful

regards regards Angelo
