Yeah it's $140 shipped but I picked mine up at wcrc since it's on my way home from work. You could also meet him at ocrcraceway he's there a few nights a week. Check out his website it's snrgraphite.com he makes a ton of cool stuff.

Default after track report

So..... The buggy was fast! However, After one day I had several screws come loose, broken front and rear chasis brace, broken wing mount, and two cracked batteries. The batteries were the turnigy hard cases. I think these were just some cheap batteries. The case was super thin. I might be shooting an email to hobbyking (BTW I will stick with hobby partz for now on!) about warranty on these craptastic batteries! I'm really disappointed but then again I'm not the best driver in the world LOL!! I can't beleive all these parts broke, I thought they were bullet proof!? Oh yeah and a broken hub carrier on the rear. I have been so bumbed I haven't even really broke her apart to check for any other damages. I met another guy there and this was his first track run with his too. A few jumps and he had broken chassis breaks too! Anyone else? I can upload pix later. I might switch to aluminum braces.

This is my second season on my RC8BE and I have yet to break anything other than a wing mount.

I taken my RC8Be out a couple of times. Today broke my stock rear hub carrier. Hit a jump to fast and landed wronge. Already ordered by aluminum replacements. Just waiting for the mail.

I was having the same problem with my screws coming out. To solve the problem I used a tip form this thread several pages back. The paste lock tight holds like a kung fu grip

Dude! Did you put a stick of dynamite under it? I've broken a wing mount and a rear upper camber link. And they were both from Truggys crashing into me. I've never even heard of all this mayhem! And to warranty the batteries. You pay shipping back to hong kong.

The batteries only got one run on them at the track before I noticed cracked cases. These batteries should hold up way better then that. They also broke at the exact same place.

I think the hub carrier was from someone hitting me. The braces were probably from the triple jump. Not landing perfect. I don't know what to say. Lol anyone want to buy a buggy?!

dont sell it! this is how you learn..pretty much loctite everything on 8th scale! all the vibration makes the screws loose

At the track I went to, they had a set of doubles in front of a table top. Most people were clearing the doubles and landing on the backside of the table top. Since it was my first time out, I nailed the jump going waaaaay too fast. I cleared the backside of the table top by a good 3 ft and got a TON of air. Anyway, the chassis came down flat, and nothing broken.

I did enough cartwheels and crooked landings that my Pro-Line V2 (front) and V3 (rear) wheels are now crooked (I did check, and it's the wheels, not the tires!), and I didn't break anything. Only thing that happened to me is that one of the screws on the wing stand offs fell out (did not loctite them, and I was using the aluminum stand offs).

I'm not a good driver at all, and really punished the car, but man, I didn't break that much stuff in one outing!

I did a few nosedives after jumps, which resulted in some nasty end-over-end cartwheels. Did you do some of those after really BIG jumps? Those batteries look like they've seen some serious front-to-back impacts, which is what I'd expect to see from a car that goes head-on at full speed into a wall or curb, or even head-first (or tail-first) after a landing on a big jump. An impact like that could break the chassis braces too. While the car is very robust, if I ran it at 30MPH into a curb, I certainly wouldn't expect it to just bounce off without any damage!

Just fix the stuff and go back out there! Gotta get back up on the horse, so to speak.

Yeah, I did take some pretty nasty nose plants. I also well overshot plenty of landings! It's a learning experience! Plus the track I was at was SUPER SUPER hard clay. Almost brick like. I might look into a softer tack a little closer. It's just not as big. Even still I would think those batteries should have held up way better then that!

just remember slow is always faster and now looks like its cheaper you never go all out when u first drive the track..you find the right lines and roll over jumps then start getting more and more confident just like dirtbikes and supercross!

BTW, when you charge those batteries, keep a very close eye on them. If the cells were damaged, they could fail during charging.
