oh, didn't remember that.
I put my 2200 in my buggy from the sc8e, I think i might keep it in there, seems to have a nice amount of punch off the link, which is just what is needed for my track, as you dont get much track before the doubles and triples.
I think im gonna leave it at 15/46 like i had in the sc8e, I have a 17t and 20t i can try once im at the track, but i think that would be a bit to much.

I think i might pick up the 2250kv T8 motor for my sc8e. What do you guys think?
I only run 4s on in that car as that is the most readily available pack i have. The track i run on, the car did great with the neu 2200kv from castle.

Damn Gregg I can't believe your RX8 let out its smoke!!
thats a bum deal. Hope this doesn't change your opinion of Tekin too much. I ran an original black heatsink RX8 in my Losi 8e a while back and now a newer unit in my RC8Be and never had a problem with either so hopefully you just had a bad unit. Better luck with the next one bud!

Just from watching the guys at the track yesterday trying to run 2 classes at the same time. Race 1/8th, turn marshall the next race, Race 1/10th turn marshall the next race. They didn't even have time to work on things broken, and sometimes had to drop out of the next race because they were running back to back. Im too lazy for that. I don't mine turn marshaling at all. But they were pretty busy. Dont think Im going to do it. And I have 4 cars now.

Hey Greg...or anyone else running the Gens ace batts. Is the balance plug a jst-xh/align?? Also, the plugs are removable banana plugs right? Trying to decide between 3 HK 4500's or 2 of the Gens ace. Leaning toward Gens ace right now. Thanks.

Yes Align 4S balance tap. And NO, they're NOT banana plugs. Thats a little bit of a downfall for some I guess. But ideally in 1/8th buggy, its just something else thats going to come loose or fall out.

Gregg, you remind me so much of me!
