I think I'm developing a man-crush over those wheels.

A Main Hobbies has it for $21.99 and the part# is: PRO3347-00

That is the driver interior that I was planning on getting. cwazyduck, how do you like it, and how did you mount it? Did you attach it to the body or to the chassis?

Part number for Proline SC driver is 3347-00
http://prolineracing.com/bodies/pro-...lear-interior/

I have it attached to the chassis, but I had to cut the corners of the roll bar off to clear the windows. I just finished painting it today, so I haven't ran it yet. I just added a body off pic to my original post.

Hey cwazyduck, I just was looking at your pics a second time and I noticed you have the new '69 Camaro Z28 body. How did you get it? I was just at the HPI site and they still list it as "out of stock"; same thing with their new '66 Mustang notchback coupe body. Both are still listed as "out of stock". I check the HPI site every day and have never seen either of those bodies as being "in stock"; so where did you get your '69 Z28 from?

Actually I'm after that '66 Mustang notchback coupe body.

I put the '69 on my backorder list at Tower, and as soon as it was in limited stock, they fired one off to me, I also got notice that my GTB 2 is now on the way too.

I got our LHS to order several..(6)..and all are here...the Mustang wont be here for another week or two..Im going to try and post the HPI driver tray again...we got some of these in the store as well....

and yes you can cut it down the middle and have two....velcro will work, or shoe glue, or chassis mount....

I put a dap of the gu on each corner...and let dry...ran the car this weekend and no issues...plus didnt have to make it fit...no cutting to fit in the Mustang or Cuda...and under $15 ...plus a ton of decals to change it up to match paint schemes....

and yes he is looking out the window at the slower cars they pass...lol

Darkside, is this the same item on Towerhobbies (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXADJP&P=0)??

Here is a link on HPI's website to the same item.(http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/104815/)

Here is a different link (http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/105088/)

Is there a difference between the 2 HPI parts???

I didn't know those existed. I'm going to have my local Hobbytown order one for me right away!!!!

its all the same to best of my knowledge....you can do so many things with it. I found it great...and all I did was paint it black(rattle can) when I did my body...and added decals to match the body....my scissors never touched it

leave the extra on it and it fits great

Exclamation

I am looking for a set of the HPI '66 Mustang decals with the white stripes for the hood and roof and rear deck. Apparently, HPI does not sell them separately.

Speaking of decals, I never throw any decals out. Periodically I do go through and organize what I have though.

I'm thankful that some of the HPI VTA bodies come with extra headlights/driving lights. Those have come in handy when painting up the Pegasus Mustang, since that comes with no decals at all.

I've also used the Camaro SS stripes to help mask the door strips on my Pegasus Mustang as well. The scraps from the HPI vinyl window masks come in handy when masking off small areas, such as the rear tail lights on the Pegasus Mustang.

And if you are wanting a more modern tail light decals for any of the Mustangs, the modern HPI Mustang has an extra set of tail light decals as well.
