really Gregg!?! are you ever gonna do something like that? i like that the hyperion duo can charge any 2 batteries at the same time regardless of whether or not they have the same number of cells or even the same type of battery. i still say your charger is badass but that demo is a pretty unrealistic scenario that id bet you never end up doing. thats one hell of a charging and balancing lead too!!

I was at the track 2 weekends ago and there were two brothers charging 4 4S packs at the same time. You would use that if you had a track day for sure. They ran 12 races between both of them with 6 batteries. That charger was on all day long.

I'm not saying the hyperions aren't good chargers. For the price, the iCharger and power supply is hard to beat. You can charge at 20amps with that ps.

And epBuddy makes that charging and balancing lead to sell with the chargers. But overall I picked the charger for the power. It puts down some serious power for the price.

No because with the charger running that huge lead going into 1 set of banana plugs. It reads as one battery. That's why he shows all the mah added together.

crazy stuff man!! But all the batts do have to be at relatively the same discharge rate, right?

Once you plug them into the parallel charge lead. They all balance themselves. Just leave them for 5 minutes and they will all be about the same. The higher battery levels off the low battery automatically. Then you can charge them.

Hey everyone new to the forums so I figured I'd sign up and ask some questions. I've been out of the rc scene for about 10yrs mainly because here in Alabama there's not many places to race like in other states. We finally have a nice track here in bama called the warehouse rc raceway thats less than an hr drive from my house. Well last night I bought a RC8BE I got the car used on ebay. Since I have been out of the rc scene for so long I'm kind of lost on what all I need to buy and I was wondering if you guy's could steer me in the right direction. The track I will be racing on is 60x110. I'm most likely going to get the same radio in the previous post (Futaba) but I'm confused about what servo,motor/esc,lipo's,pinion and charger. I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong thread but I've been reading forums until I'm blue in the face . Also since I bought the car used is there anything I would need to buy to have on hand like lubes and shock oil? Any help would be much appreciated. I know I sound like a total noob but technology has came a long way in rc in 10 years and I want to ask the people who know it the best. Thanks, Brandon

That's an insane setup! Comparable to what I'm running except you got me beat with that lipo and the grid mount. You'll be very happy with it.
