All my stuff is starting to come in. Today I got my front taper pin with JConcept molded foams (thought I'd give them a try, they seem really firm though so i have my doubts) Thursday i should be getting my rear bk bars and S6040 servo, and then Friday my saddle packs should be here for mid-motor setup. This is both torture and exciting.

Just one more month fella's (that is if the February release holds true)

Question on steering servos for this beast. I am looking at low profile servos, specifically the Savox 1251. Here are the specs.

Is this enough for 2wd buggy?

Speed @ 6.0V: .09
Speed @ 4.8V: .10
Torque @ 6.0V: 125 oz-in
Torque @ 4.8V: 96 oz-in

Another question. I plan on running this buggy on an outdoor 8th scale track. No racing, just fun track time for me. I have a Murffdog 13.5 and a Tekin 8.5. Should I keep both or just run 1? Which 1 to run if I only keep 1, is 8.5 too much for 2wd buggy?

8.5 is what most guys in 2wd mod are running locally, some run a 9.5/10.5 as well......I will be running my twenty-two in stock buggy class with a NON-boosted 17.5.......I cant wait to build this car

Horizon confirms by saying late March arrival. Well... maybe this will actually allow me to focus on finishing my bachelors degree this semester

At the same time you have to consider that the aluminum chassis now extends the full length of the car where lighter plastic used to exist, the servo is a half inch further forward, and the big bore shocks weigh noticeably more and are the furthest from the center. Until we get the car in our hands we won't know, but to me it looks more like a wash in that category.

I'm more inclined to see the increased steering coming from the higher pivot point on the front hubs producing a lower front roll center similar to 4wd buggies.

Didn't want to look through 100 pages (on a vehicle that's not even out yet!) to find this out: Can I use a regular 5000mah, 40c lipo that I use in everything else, or do I need the special size lipos they show?
