The CRF crank should go in any of the Team Orion Alpha line of engines.

ALL of Team Orion's engines are made in Italy under the watchful eye of French designer and former World Champion Adrien Bertin. Please don't post links to the Taiwan Alpha Plus engines in this thread. It's totally out of line and confusing for people that want to know about Team Orion Alpha engines. Thanks.
Good to hear Paul.. I look forward to the follow up after the Rev Race..

Broke-in the Alpha Discovery 5-port today. Havent got it fully tuned in yet, but its gunna be real nice. Lots of power, after i fully put a tune on it, gunna check run time.

Micheal, Orion CRF's are top of the line engines like the Ninja's. You cant go wrong with them.

The Discovery exceeded our expectations this weekend. Even though Cody ran the fastest laps of the day, unfortunately part of his antenna got ripped off early in the final and the car was glitching all over the place, but I was very impressed with the engine. You be the judge:

Hey PitPop, thanks for the video.. Engine sounds like it is singing quite well.. What pipe? It sounded a little flat toward the end of the first straight away pass, but seemed better after that.. Also engine seemed to have good grunt out of corners and was jumping everything really easy. IF I had to guess I'd say 2013, but I know you and Cody have done alot with the 2058 lately, and am wondering if that might be it..

Thanks again..

Mr King, I have a crf 3 port and 5 port and am having some serious issues with the tune on them. Can you give me the turn count on the high low and idle needles. I understand I may have to change them an hour or two but I am lost. I have always ran os engines and have no tuning issues with them. I am hoping I have the needles backwards. Please lead me in the right direction.

That's the 2058, it's a little quieter than the mighty 2013

Helping with tune on the internet is very difficult, but I can tell you that both the top and bottom needles on our discovery engine are just below flush. Also, I have noticed that our engines run best with Team Orion glow plugs. The best advice I can give is first to make sure the carb is sealed well and properly installed. Tune the top end making sure the bottom is slightly rich, then just keep dialing in the bottom needle until the idle lays down and doesn't drop, and of course turn down the idle. These engines run with a fairly lean bottom end. If you tune the bottom too fat, the idle will be all over the place (like with most engines). Last thing you need to know is the bottom end needle is fairly sensitive once you get it close. You don't need to make big moves with the needle, just the width of the screwdriver blade might be enough sometimes.

Pitpop, Is the discovery engine use standard or turbo plugs? Im a little confused on the engines. The one I have been looking at goes for like 259 with the pipe and header. Is this the same one you guys are using?

The discovery 5 port uses a turbo plug.Drove with it the first time with it and it seems very smooth almost like my sirio evo4 sti with a touch more low end and top end maybe a little less. Still finishing breakin I like it very much.I like it better than my werks b5 so thats saying alot.

Like v6 said, it's a turbo button. Can you post a link to the engine you are looking at? I can tell you if it's the same one if I can see it.

Since that is the 2058 pipe, I think I just found my 2011 engine.. Too good of a deal to pass..
Stormer has it for $259, with pipe, which is a smoking deal.. Gonna have to get one ordered soon since PNB is just around the corner.. I hate being broke..
