Just hang with the latest tech you can afford until you have the cash and/or need newer tech.
You do realize that some of these people bought it just to complete their collection, right?

The way I see it is that there will be a choice.

Choice of:
- Latest Tamiya Belt Drive car, TRF415
- Latest Tamiya Shaft drive car, TRF EvoIV

Perhaps they will perform reletively equally (will be known upon E4 release i guess), but some people prefer belt, others shaft.

Yeah??

So that being said...will you be running a 415 or a EVO4 at the Nats.

The pics are clearly a carbon chassis with the stick pack holder of the left side ( front of pic ) which does make it look like a tub chassis on those poor quality pics. Remember in japan they do run stick packs as per their racing rules.

Default stick ?

weekend racer, do you want the 101 previous issues of RC World, leading japanese R/C magasine, which nicely features thousands of cars in japanses champs NOT featuring stick packs ?

true, they do run some stick packs, at stricly sanctioned races, but by no means it is the majority.

kawwaiiii !
