mine was missing the 3 spur gear screws as well, i used some flat heads from my box. overall the kit was pretty well complete though

I got your extra screws in my kit.

I hope the 2nd batch of kits have addressed the packaging issues.

I got hooked up with one of the 1st release cars, only one in Hawaii and everything was good to go. My only complaint is the anodizing is 3 different colors. Bob did a great job with this car.

I did get one bad ball stud, the thread wasn't cut properly and it wouldn't screw in. I had many extra though.

We have a local with the Tc6, and MAN is that thing fast for being fresh out of the box! Comin for ya John!

Definitely a few hiccups with these first run kits but, well worth the trouble.

Thanks Dave for the encouragement. Trust me, its mostly the car, hehe. This thing is dialed, I copied Keven Herberts setup and BOOM. Instant handling. Also, Boss Motors are putting the power down to the track.

I think this is the real reason that thing is fast.

Jrxs, Add more material so you can use the screw right in front of where you have stopped. Itll give more support and that design will be money!!!

Yep, that should help double anchor it and prevent pivoting.

I would have thought that they would have included shorter links, or at least have the option in the kit or even in the catalog with the car, but looking it over, NOT. The kit ones are 1.65". Associated makes 1.0", 1.125", 1.3", 1.375" and several others as stardard catalog parts, so there are some factory options there for under $15. The factory TC5 parts of 1.3 or 1.125 just might be the right ticket!

Has anyone been able to fit a hard bumper [tc5,xray,top,etc.] on the car yet?
