I run the 1267 in my Jammin SCRT, it's a bit of an amp hog, but plenty of power!

Using a MMP, I have had to use an external BEC to run it (just a cheapy 3 Amp job from Hobbyking)

I told them i could bump the voltage to the servo they said it needed more amps not volts.
put a cap on it it works great but a little loud thats fine.
thanks everybody for the help and patience.
didnt mean to sound pissy just was frustrated.

For anyone else who has recently ordered servos from Savox USA, how long do they usually take to ship? I ordered a 1267MG on Sunday and it is still processing.

Power capacitor, for the HV servos. They draw a lot of amps, and when you accelerate fast, the ESC uses most of the needed amps to get the car going, which momentarily shuts off the receiver. The power cap, when installed to the receiver, holds charge, which will stop the receiver from shutting off when you punch it.

long story short.. capacitors store energy.

when amperage is drawn from a source (battery) in huge amounts, (hungry servo's) the voltage or potential decreases, and could shut down the receiver, giving it finicky performance, or delayed response.

if your into car audio, and bass systems, and huge stereo setups, cap's, batt. caps.. are very common due to the amp draw from large amplifiers drawing current for its equipment. capacitors store the extra vars needed to support the watts needed to move the current.

lol, i know 1/2 that shit didn't make sense right.. ::shakes head::

I know Orion's are re-branded Savox servos for double + the price, but what about the Spektrum servos. They look identical to the Savox except for colours and labels.

$20 off and free shipping with a servo trade in if you order directly from Savox USA. I just scored a 1258 for $47.99. I can't think of a better way to dispose of a RTR servo.
